So, its been a while since the last post. I originally started this website in the hope that it would help me to stay consistent with my engineering hobby projects, with the focal point being the development of Rolf, my small humanoid robot.
The previous post was march 10th 2025 and since then Rolf has mostly been sitting on the shelf collecting dust. Now, to be fair the shelf has moved houses and been covered while we did some minor renovations. I also got distracted and bought myself a 3d printer, a Bambu H2D named Bjarne. So the shiny new toy took precedence over the old dusty one.
With the start of the new year and a fresh dose of new year’s resolutions I thought it was time to revive the website. The plan that this website would be the motivating factor that would trick me into being consistent with hobby projects didn’t hold. This could be a paragraph about introspection and soul-searching, but instead I think I’ll just get this post over with and start work on some projects instead. As I sit here I’m itching to give this website an overhaul and try out some of the fancy new ai-assisted development tools. We’ll see how it goes.
